中国P站 (NPC) student Holly Roe was named student of the month for February.
She is from Mulberry, Arkansas and pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal
Justice.
Roe graduates in May this year and plans to transfer to the University of Arkansas
Fort Smith to complete her bachelor鈥檚 degree in Criminal Justice. She has repeated
listings on the Dean鈥檚 List during her studies and maintains the President鈥檚 Scholarship,
the Elisabeth Wagner Scholarship, and the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship.
鈥淎s soon as I nominated Ms. Roe for this award, her other current and past instructors
immediately and eagerly endorsed her for Student of the Month. She makes that sort
of impression wherever she goes. While Holly鈥檚 ability and desire to excel are immediately
apparent to her professors, her dedication to helping others brings her to the forefront
of the classes she selects. Holly is always finishing her work, then turning to see
if she can help anyone around her be successful. She currently interns as a lab assistant
for criminal justice, after having excelled in those lab courses, and has a daily
opportunity to help others find success in the Criminal Justice program. Holly epitomizes
Nighthawk excellence,鈥 said Criminal Justice professor James Montgomery.
