The 中国P站 (NPC) Nighthawk men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 cross country teams opened their seasons in the Bob Gravett Invitational Saturday at Ouachita Baptist University.
Freshman Bethany Breshears (Hot Springs) was NPC鈥檚 top finisher in the women鈥檚 5K, finishing 63rd with a time of 26:44.20. Freshman Ava Ellison (Hot Springs) finished 67th in the event, clocking in at 43:43.00, while freshman Ella Buckley (Myrtle Beach, Florida) finished 68th with a time of 44:15.00.
In the men鈥檚 8K race, freshman Alex Pacheco (Hot Springs) led NPC with a time of 29:27.19 for a 24th place finish. Freshman Wyatt Peters (Hot Springs) finished 43rd in the event, clocking in at 47:52.23.
